Visualization of online social network |

This is a project in IBM CRL, which is called HiMap. HiMap is a system that visualizes online social network by clustered graph via hierarchical grouping and summarization.
- Implement a crawler to collect data from the tipycal Chinese online social network
- Propose and improve algorithms for detecting hierarchical community structure of large graph.

Network coordinates based geographic information system |
| |
This system ,in which hosts’ geographic positions are derived from their network coordinates and geographic information of the landmarks, is an application of NC. Extensive experiments on PlanetLab show that our system can predict hosts’ geographic positions accurately.
