I am Yibo Zhu, a senior undergraduate student at Department of Electronic Engineering (EE), Tsinghua University. I've been working at Lab of Next Generation Network for one and a half year. In addition, I used to be one of the only two Stanford University Undergraduate Visit and Research program (UGVR) EE students.

Research Assistant in Lab of Next Generation Network (NGN), Tsinghua University.

Advisor: Prof. Beixing Deng and Dr. Yang Chen

Deployed and evaluated two decentralized network coordinate (NC) systems on PlanetLab.

Developed Toread, a decentralized NC program.

Designed NC-APT, an innovate download mirror selecting system.

Implemented a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) simulation platform

Designed Confocal SEM for better buried microstructure observation with a simulation approach.

Research Assistant in Lab of Microwave and Digital Communication, Tsinghua University.

Advisor: Prof. Yuantao Gu

Surveyed and evaluated the existing algorithms on compressible signal reconstruction.

Designed and implemented an innovate algorithm base on Orthogonal Matching Pursuit.

Sep. 2009 – Apr. 2010

Student Research Training: Automatic Control System Base on GSM Module and SOPC.

Advisor: Prof. Zhongxin Xu.

Compiled a uclinux operating system for Altera FPGA with NIOS-II SOPC.

Programmed C codes in order to drive an Ethernet card on FPGA board working in Internet.

Maintained a forum ,a wiki and an FTP for open source software lovers and learners.

Chief Developer, Baidu Astar 2010 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Contest Platform

Developed and maintained a 3D online AI contest platform. Skills including C++, DirectX, GUI, network programming and website developing were used. There were more than 30,000 competitors all around China.
